This page highlights our Salt Spring Island community business heroes that support the use of electric vehicles as part of their operations.

These vehicles tend to be in use more than an average owner (a good example is delivery vehicles), so the benefits of their use for the environment accrue more quickly.

          DELIVERY

                - Country Grocer.  Using a Fiat 500e to deliver Pharmacy Goods.  Country Grocer also provides 4 free chargers for customers.
                    - WAWWE Gourmet Meal Delivery Service, using a Tesla Model 3 and a Tesla Model Y.  And more EV's on the way.

           TRANSPORTATION
     
                 - SSI Taxi.  Using a Kia Soul EV for and a Tesla Model 3  passenger transportation.
                     - Tour Salt Spring.  Using a Chrysler Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid for passenger transportation.  And charged by SOLAR (bonus points for that)

           REAL ESTATE
        
                  Sandra Smith, Macdonald Reality.  Using a Nissan Leaf for client support.  Sandra also donated the free public charger at the Golf Course.
                     
Erin Williams, Pemberton Holmes.  Using a Kia Soul EV for client support.
                      Claire Sarginson, Claire Sarginson Real Estate.  Using a Tesla Model 3 for client support.
                      Julian Bruce, Macdonald Realty Ltd.  Using a Nissan Leaf and a Mitshibushi Outlander PHEV for client support.

           LOCAL GOVERNMENT 
     
                 - CRD.  using a Mitsubishi Plug-in Hybrid for CRD staff to attend offsite meetings and project sites.  
                                      CRD PARK also provides a free charging station located at Portlock Park.
