Charging Station Donation Boxes
While some locations (like Country Grocer) have generous owners that pick up the tab for your charging, some have more limited budgets and ask for your help in supporting the charging service.
The funding is required for electrical consumption, repairs, and eventual charger replacement.
Donation boxes are located at the Salt Spring Library and Fulford hall (ensure switch on side of unit is on). If you cannot find the donation box, please pass your donation to someone inside the building. To date, donations have been lacking and more is required to meet the on-going and future needs of the charging stations.
A fee of $2 per hour is an adequate amount. But feel free to be more generous.
Please limit your charging to 2 hours, and please move your vehicle elsewhere when you are not charging.
