Traction battery Tips

Some background interesting facts:
- The electric ferries in Norway are operated in the 45%-55% range all the time (and are charged zillions of times per year)
- EV replacement traction batteries are shipped at 50% (therefore EV batteries are happiest at 50% charge)

The. following tips can keep your battery healthier longer.

- limit the battery being at 100% to as short a time as possible.
- charge to 80% if it convenient and it meets your needs
- I personally charge my Nissan Leaf before entering the bottom 2 RED bars and use a charging timer to charge to about 85%.  Good for the battery and I get regenerative breaking all the time.
